What ages is this for?
Students in Grades 2–6.
Is this tutoring?
No. The Literacy Snapshot is an assessment and consultation designed to help determine your child's strengths, priority areas, and appropriate next steps.
Is this a diagnostic assessment?
No. It is an educational literacy snapshot based on reading/writing activities and professional educator observation. It isn't a comprehensive psychological, learning-disability, dyslexia, or clinical diagnostic evaluation.
What happens after the assessment?
You receive a separate 15-minute parent consultation and a personalized action plan.
What if my child would benefit from additional help?
If targeted literacy support seems appropriate, I'll explain what I recommend. There is no obligation to continue working with Engaged Thinkers.
